THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING PLAYING KENO (PART 3)
Types of Bets Available Straight Tickets
A straight bet is a bet with a certain amount of numbers selected. Players will then have to hit all or some of their chosen numbers, based on how many they have selected, in order to win. This ticket has one selection of numbers.
King Number Tickets
A king number bet will have one number (named king number) that will be added to all of your other groups of numbers and will also play as one spot by itself. For instance, you have a ticket with two 3-spot bets and you choose a king number. You will then have three different groupings. Your two 3-spot bets along with the king number make them 4-spot bets, plus a 1-spot bet including just your king number.
A way ticket can have some different selections of numbers. You can choose different number amounts and different groupings.
Split tickets are tickets that combine more than one straight bet. It pays and plays the same as though you had marked a straight wager on two separate tickets. There is no particular advantage to making the bets on one ticket. In fact, many people find it is a disadvantage to play a split ticket since they are not allowed to choose a number twice. You can’t use the same number on both straight bets.
As its name suggesting, a combination ticket is a ticket with a combination of some different grouping types. You can have king bets, straight bets, way bets, and more, all combined in one ticket and you will have to pay for each combination you make.
Progressive Jackpot Games
Keno is a lottery-style game in which players can pay lottery-sized jackpots if they find a Progressive Jackpot game. You can find these games both online and on land-based Keno lounge floors. The rules of Progressive Jackpot games vary for many of these, so you need to read the rules about the game before playing.
